We always have many different volunteering opportunities available. We are currently looking for a few adults who have some time on their hands and want to help out at our rescue center.
We have all shifts available, anything that will work with your schedule, weekdays, weekend, AM, PM. We have a few dogs, a cat room, and a kitten room. |

If you want to help out with the dogs, you must be confident with working with dogs over 40 pounds. We walk the dogs all around the neighborhood everyday. The AM walks are at 8:30 and in the afternoon it is more flexible, but normally we start around 5:30-6pm.
For the cat and kitten room we need students and/or adults to spend time and play and cuddle with them. Rooms need to be swiped, cleaned etc. Kitties need fresh water and food, and litter boxes need to be scooped. We also have some kittens in the cattery at Petco, 15895 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines. There we have multiple shifts available. The kitten habitat needs cleaning, litter boxes need scooping, food needs to be replenished and the kittens need some TLC.
Its light volunteer work. It only requires you to love animals! Students will get volunteer hours, double hours on the weekends. We are always looking for new faces to add to our team! Call or text Dana for more info 954.296.8208 |
