We Love Animals Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity located in Hollywood, Florida. We run a cage-free rescue center, visits by appointment only. At the rescue center we have a few dogs, an adult cat room, and a kitten room. Some of our adoptable cats/kittens are in our cattery at the Petco in Pembroke Pines, 15895 Pines Boulevard.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home homeless, abused, and neglected cats and dogs in imminent danger of being euthanized in Broward and Miami-Dade County animal shelters. |

Every animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and given flea meds before going to their forever homes. We work with local veterinarians in providing any necessary treatment or surgical procedure. Medical bills and boarding are our primary expenses.
Our organization also aims to decrease the euthanasia rates of cats and kittens in our high-kill animal shelters by participating in the Trap-Neuter-Return program. In a TNR program, community cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returned to their outdoor home. Non-feral cats are re-homed whenever possible. We often take in feral or friendly pregnant or nursing cats to provide a safe environment for her and her kittens. At both the shelter and at Petco we have many volunteer opportunities. This consist of walking and playing with the dogs, spending time with the cats and kittens, scooping litter boxes, cleaning, feeding, etc. |
